This policy describes the free tools-and-guides version of TapSpec Home, operated by Ascendant Systems LLC.
Calculator inputs stay in your browser
The tools calculate results on your device. TapSpec does not send your selections or calculator inputs to an application server, save them in an account, or share them with a provider. Refreshing or leaving the page may clear your results. Printing or saving a page uses your browser and device.
Limited activity counts
We count views of selected pages and completed tool calculations using first-party requests. Each event contains only an event type, fixed asset and page identifiers, a format version and a new random event ID. Events contain no selections, calculator inputs, results, source links or referrers. The counter uses no cookies or browser storage and respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Initial automatic calculator displays are excluded from completion counts.
No intake or tracking enrollment
This site has no quote-request, provider-application, contact, newsletter, upload, or payment forms. It does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or browser storage to save a profile of your tool use.
Information needed to serve the website
The hosting and network services process requests and technical information such as IP address, requested page, request time, and browser information to deliver and protect the website. This technical processing is separate from calculator inputs, which stay on your device.
If you contact us by email
Your email service and ours process the message you choose to send, including your address and its contents. We use that correspondence to handle the provider-pilot inquiry, correction, support, or privacy question and related follow-up. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or private test reports.
External links and your choices
Opening a source link takes you to a separate website with its own practices. For questions about information you have emailed us, or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, contact hello@ascendantsystems.net. Information may need to be retained to meet a legal obligation or resolve an active issue.
Changes
We will update this policy when the service or its data practices change. TapSpec is intended for adults planning decisions about a home or property.
